Aboriginal Heritage Tour

You can discover the rich heritage of Aboriginal Sydney during December and January. Located in a spectacular setting of the harbourside in Sydney an Aboriginal guide will take you through Aboriginal culture in Sydney.

Sydney is located on land that was previously home to the Cadigal people, your tour starts at the Royal Botanic Garden. An experienced guide will take you on a walking tour that takes roughly two hours.

You will discover the rich heritage and culture of the Cadigan people in the Sydney area and learn about the traditional uses of the native plants and trees. Which include medicine, tools, and of course bush tucker.

Chinatown Night Market

The event is all part of Asia On Your Doorstep project, and Little Hay Street is transformed into Little Eat Street for the event. Many food stalls and brightly lit lanterns adorn the streets and visitors can take a culinary journey from Hanoi to Hong Kong and try out spicy delicacies such as, Pho, Yum Cha, Takoyaki, Tepanyaki and much more.

Mov’in Bed

Dec 7th – Feb 17th

You may have heard about drive-in movies but you probably have never heard of an outdoor bed cinema. That is just what Mov’in Bed is all about and it takes place in the charming Entertainment Quarter of Sydney.

There are over one hundred and fifty large beds laid out under the stars with a giant screen at one end. Each bed has its own blankets, pillows, glow-side table lamps.

Retire to bed with a nice chilled bottle of wine and your best sleeping buddy, and watch your favourite classic movies, billed this year are: Bohemian Rhapsody, First Man, El Royal, A Star is Born, and Venom. The same movie is never played twice so basically this event is an outdoor movie festival.
